Sharon Huerta's heart breaks over the difficulties JJ faces and would appreciate you lifting him up to God. He has a court appointment tomorrow and we want to have the Lord do what is best for him. Giving Sharon peace and comfort at the same time.
Remember Pam Conklin as she continues to minister to Dave in the memory care unit. Pray for Dave (we love him so much) that God would work in his life and for Pam as she is dutifully taking care of his as best she can. Also for son, Aaron, who is struggling, having to move soon and not yet with a place to move to. Pray his social workers will be more proactive in helping him as he fights the trials of life.
Nancy Keyser was wise to mention we need to be in prayer for our pastors who are on the front line in our troubled world. Satan certainly attacks them often and they bear a difficult burden. Pray for strength and endurance as they fight the 'good fight'. Also, Nancy had a fall which she (thankfully) suffered no serious injury but it makes us all think about our frailty in life and how we need to be extra cautious.
Susan Gardner (last I heard) is still in the hospital with complications from covid, with lung issues and possibly pneumonia. She has some other health issues and I would like you all to ask the Lord for healing for her. Ed as well that he be able to give her the care she needs as she recovers. (He might benefit as well from some prayer for his patience and comfort during this hard time.)
Jerry Smith is still (last I checked) on dialysis, being tied to a machine 3 days a week for over 4 hours. I'm confident it exhausts him and to date I don't believe there has been much improvement. Please ask God to find a doorway into his isolated life and to bring some joy.
Diane Borden is still recovering from her surgery (knee replacement). We miss her and Lee and we should ask God to eliminate her discomfort and heal her so she can return to us... (I'm sorta selfish that way, I want to see them again).
Gary Anderson expressed his ongoing joy and praise to the Lord that He has seen fit to keep his mother around (she is 103). She may be only a 'shadow' of her former self but God knows the value we place on our mothers and we cherish every minute we have with them. Praise God for His mercies.
Keith Osgood has become near and dear to us all and while we don't know exactly what might be going on in his life we have an UNSPOKEN request (from Jerry) for Keith. PLEASE ask the Lord for a movement in his life to overcome any difficulty he may face. God can do anything and it would be foolish of us not to ask for His help.
On that same note we have and UNSPOKEN need in the life of Tom and Nara McDowell. Remember, God knows everything, we pray not to 'inform' the Lord of the need but simply to ask Him to intervene and work in a way that would bring glory to God.
Linda Skirow was praising the Lord for her sister Peg who seems to be turning the corner and recovering. She had a staph infection which was hard to overcome. First, THANK GOD for His work but then let's ask for God to continue her healing and show Himself in this situation. Linda also mentioned her daughter Sarah (who suffers from MS along with other issues). She carries WAY more than her share of difficulties and we need to ask the Lord for relief and some special blessings.
Remember those who have lost loved ones recently, I recall Faye Koehn who lost Doyle last year. We chatted and she is slowly recovering and moving in the right direction. God bless her and those others we know still feeling the pain of loss.
